What Is Ex-Display Furniture?

Ex-display furniture is items of furniture that have spent some time on display in a shop. Unlike second-hand furniture, ex-display furniture won’t have incurred any real use, i.e. somebody won’t have eaten food from an ex-display dining table.

What Does Ex-Display Mean?

The term ex-display simply refers to an item that has spent time on display in a shop. Customers can usually try ex-display items in some capacity, but never to full capacity. For example, they might be able to sit at a dining table but not actually eat a meal on it.

What’s the Difference Between Second Hand and Ex-Display Furniture?

The main difference between second hand and ex-display furniture is that second hand furniture will have had some real usage, which usually depreciates its condition. On the other hand, the condition of ex-display furniture doesn’t depreciate that much.
